One Should Do What one is Good At Motivational Story
Two brothers lived in one village. Elder brother weaved cloth and the younger one sold it in the market.
Both were skilled in their own work.
But their wives were very querulous. They fought with each other all the time. Once, the wife of the elder brother started the fight. She said to her sister-in-law, “You are able to eat food because my husband weaves cloth.
You are enjoying life because of his toils.”
Younger sister-in-law said, “My husband takes the cloth to the market and sells it. Your family survives because of him.”
The brothers too started fighting taking sides of their wives. Elder brother said to younger brother, “I weave the cloth that is why you are able to sell it and bring the money. Tomorrow, you weave the cloth and I will sell it.”
The younger brother was good at marketing. He knew how to sell the cloth but did not know how to weave it. Older brother was good at weaving the cloth but he had no knowledge of the market.
They exchanged their work. Older brother went to the market, but could not sell the cloth in the whole day. He came back. Here, the younger brother could not weave the cloth.
They both realized their mistakes. They scolded their wives and said, “Everyone should do the work in which he is skilled. Do not fight again.
Both the women lived peacefully thereafter. They did not fight ever again.
